That place is tiny. My childhood bedroom had more square footage (10x12ft) than the main level of that apartment. I am glad that the rent is under $500 USD, bc any more than that it might be better to live out of a long term hotel. It is efficient with the space available, but unless you are broke as hell or plan on being in Tokyo for less than 9 months, it would be better to get a larger space if only for your own mental health. (imagine being in a Covid type lock down in that space as a foreigner without any real friends/contacts. That would be super difficult.) Overall i like the idea/concept of super compact living at least for short term visits (under 3 months). Thanks for sharing!

Soy española, no sé cómo he terminado en este vídeo y no me esperaba que apareciera comida española 😅 pero me alegro de que te haya gustado 😊 en mi país los pisos son más grandes en general, pero en ciudades grandes como Madrid o Barcelona cada vez son más pequeños...y MUCHO más caros, por suerte no vivo ahí 😜 El precio del apartamento que has enseñado no me parece excesivamente caro y no me disgusta (aunque ese balcón es extraño 😂) Aunque sinceramente lo que más curiosidad me da es saber cómo hace la gente para organizar bien sus cosas para que siga siendo un lugar cómodo y que se vea bonito y limpio. ¡¡Un saludo desde España!! 🤗🇪🇸

I think a king single would fit better in that space, I assume it was a queen size shown. That 300mm gap at the end of the bed is a pretty standard size for a pullout pantry, maybe there's a way to use that space.

Por cosas del trabajo me tuve que ir a otra ciudad y encontré lo que llamas “Micro apartamento” pero lo que encontré es un cuarto bastante grande con todos los servicios necesarios y muchas mascotas 🫠 (CUCARACHAS 😑😑😑) pero por el precio de $2,200 MXN, no me puedo quejar y al parecer el cuarto es más grande que el micro apartamento del video 😅

I see a lot of people have started suggesting Murphy beds particularly ones which have desks when closed. My first reaction was “Those are expensive!” But then, I did a search and I see there are now clever designed Murphy beds made with less expensive materials that cost much less than the ones I noticed years ago. They are even more affordable if you are somewhat handy and can assemble them yourself. So I think Murphy beds would be ideal for a lot of these micro apartments including this one.

I’d want to use a roll up bed if I were to live in this cozy space. Could put up the bed when I was done and have plenty of room for a table and chair.

I like this one. I think the white plank flooring is nice in a micro. I’m not sure it needs two sinks particularly since the toilet has one of those attached washers basins though I guess it’s nice to keep tooth brushing and face washing separate from kitchenette maybe. It has a space for a pretty big refrigerator; but I’d select one that was about the height of the kitchenette and then put a microwave on top of it. I was thinking a lofted bed with a desk and chair underneath; but another commenter suggested that a twin sized bed would leave enough space for a small desk and chair. I would have liked to see if you tried a twin sized bed there to get a better visual of how much room there is with one. I know you seem to prefer a full size; but I personally think a twin is preferable for a single person if space is limited. I think I might still have a lofted twin size if I had to live in this apt. But in general, this is one of the nicer micro apts you’ve featured.

I'm guessing it isn't _quite_ tall enough for a loft bed, but a loft bed would make good sense if it fit. Then you could get a desk under it

You have to use a slim bed with underneath storage and put the desk into clothing niche, but nice to see a bathtub and the glass door brings in more light. TV space?

Place for tons of shoes but no rainy stinky jackets, no desk space unless you use a bunk bed, three sinks but no fridge nor washing machine included... nope.

This apartment is pretty. I like the sink so close to the door-I always wash my hands when I come in from outside, so I would find it convenient. It looks like they put some thought into the layout.

The price is good, but I want clear windows to see the outside. For sleeping upstairs I would be scared to fall down in the night.

For a single person, that apartment looks amazing. Top 3 is quite good because of the space but nothing can beat the rent price of that top 1.

Id use a single sofa bed and a wall mounted table as a work table/dining table. The loft area will be a storage. Im not really keen on going up and down the stairs for sleeping especially when im too tired to do anything.
